How you can help us
We
now have a search engine box on the home page.
Using this to search the web generates income for the branch WITHOUT costing
you anything. Whilst you may prefer
other search engines such as Google, simply using the search engine from our
site generates income for us. Please
note that only searches originated from our home page are credited to us, BUT
you can download a search bar to make US your default search engine which means
that as long as you use the search box at the top right-hand corner of your
browser it will always generate income for us.
To sign up please click here:
PLEASE
remember that every search generates income for us with no cost to you.
We
also have a shopping portal on the home page.
Using this enables you to use the shopping sites you usually use BUT earns
us commission on every purchase you make having gone to their site from
ours. Visit our webshop
You
can also donate to us when selling on ebay simply by stating that you want part
(or all) of your proceeds to go to us.
If you could help with the next Tesco
collection (we normally ask people to do 2 hours at a time, but can be
flexible) please contact us on 01745 330587.
Our collectors remark that it is nice meeting so many nice people and
rewarding knowing that you are helping to improve the lives of local
animals. I would point out that as a
collector your vehicle would be exempt from the 3 hour limit on parking. We can also arrange for you to have a chair
so that you don’t need to stand all the time.
If you need transport we may also be able to supply that.
We are in desperate need of people
who can foster animals, especially at short notice. All too often we are presented with animals
that cannot go to Bryn-Y-Maen because they are full. Sending these animals to a kennels or cattery
is not only very expensive but is dependent on them having
space. Whilst you would have to have an
inspection by one of our ‘home checkers’ and be subject to a formal agreement between
the branch and yourself, ALL food and veterinary costs would be borne by the
branch. Thus, whilst there is a certain
amount of ‘red tape’, you will be directly helping animals at NO cost to
yourself, AND saving the branch money so that we can help more animals.
If you wish to donate money to the
branch you can send a cheque or postal orders to the address listed on the
contact page, or donate online via the button below.
