Clinic Rhyl

We have now moved from the old
We provide a veterinary service to
local animals. The service is at present limited to people on limited
incomes eg state benefits or pension. You will need to provide details of
your animal (see Welfare Assistance for the details required) plus proof of your
entitlement to benefits. Also, every animal registered (or address, ie if
like me you have multiple pets [in my case 4 dogs] you only need to pay for one
animal) requires a fee of £5.00 to register.
Currently we are charging:

We have standardized the charges in
all the clinics operating in North Wales ie Wrexham, Shotton, Llandudno Junction
and the mobile clinic.
The clinic (when a vet is in
attendance) is open from 1530 to 1630 every Monday and Thursday (except Bank
Holidays). Drugs are charged at a little over cost price. Our main
aim is to treat as many animals for as many complaints as possible. Please note that if you arrive after 1630 you
may not be seen as the vet has return to their practice to see their own
clients.
You can contact the clinic during
opening hours by calling 01745 355798. Bear in mind that whilst the clinic
is open they may be busy with clients. Outside opening hours you can
contact our manager on 01745 887057 BUT, please bear in mind that she is NOT
employed by the RSPCA, but is a volunteer and that this is her home telephone
number.
We hope to open the shop part of the
building at other times (possibly 1000 to 1600 Monday to Friday but that is
dependant on having enough volunteers) where we will be selling pet food,
bowls, leads etc., PLUS we will be able to sell flea treatments, worming
treatments and microchipping, ie anything that does not require a vet.
